The angst of Jemcee also comes in two flavours. The first one is more bittersweet and is Jerrica growing old and passing away peacefully so Arcee still has a bunch of years with her and memories to keep etc etc

The second is that Arcee leaves earth for Cybertron, promises to return one day, but is simply too late to reunite with Jerrica before she dies and Jerrica spent her life waiting for Arcee to come back for her

Second chapter of my Jemcee interview fic is up featuring WheelRatch old man married disputes and the Benton sisters learning more about robot kinks than they ever thought they would. We got close to a T rating with this one but it did not yet cross the line! Let's see how long that lasts lol

This chapter ended up being 1.5K bringing our overall wordcount up to 2.6K. Whoops

Summary/Preview: Jerrica devises a very normal totally subtle way to find out if Arcee is attracted to her. It involves interviewing various Cybertronians about what they find attractive in a partner and does not involve just asking Arcee out directly, because that would be crazy. Interesting revelations ensue

A/N: I love Jemcee they are my beloved crackship crossover pairing. I have watched maybe 2 eps of Jem in my entire life so I apologise if she's OOC in this but I mean. It's the 80's cartoon universe I'm allowed to get silly with it

Arcee modeling her holoform after Jerrica. Arcee going to all of the Holograms' shows and pining awfully when she has to go back to Cybertron and leave Jerrica behind. Jem calling her "Cherry" because she couldn't pronounce "chérie" [Arcee speaks french but Jem does not]. Having picnic dates up on hilltops so they can view the stars and Jerrica can sit smiling softly as Arcee tells her about all the planets and the constellations and star names [astronomer Arcee walk with me on this]. Jerrica making an album dedicated to her, filled with space and car metaphors, and Arcee still not getting that it's about her and everyone throwing their hands up about it

Jerrica learning that her Synergy tech exists because of cybertronian technology that was found and studied years ago and now using her earrings as a way to feel closer to Arcee. The Holograms watching as Jerrica loses a little bit of her pep and colour the closer it gets to Arcee leaving earth for the rebuilding efforts but not wanting Arcee to know about it because she feels selfish feeling this way

Going out for one last drive before they seperate, and staying out a little longer than they should, trying to make it last, trying to slow down time, keep a little pocket to themselves

But there's a little bit of Arcee left in Synergy. A message, just for Jerrica, that says: "You're my Vela"
