Jemma Collier’s father vanished when she was 16 and came back just over a year later. He’d never been an objectively bad father, just distant, but after coming back, all he cared about were the 4,399 people who came back with him.

When an attempt on Jordan’s life hits Jemma instead, the only option is an emergency blood transfusion, and the only person on site with O- is Jordan.

Oh hi! I’ve been binge watching the 4400 today so I’ve got plenty of thoughts:

Jemma is wounded in 1.04 Trial By Fire, by the Keating brothers’ attack on Collier’s 4400 suburb

She needs a blood transfusion on-site, so Jordan donates his

About this time, Ryland is working on the promicin inhibitor, but because the transfusion happens behind Jordan’s wall of secrets, it’s never reported to NTAC

Jemma starts developing powers, first revealed when she has a discussion with Lily and is able to feel what she does

Over time, it’s revealed that her power is to temporarily copy the power of another 4400 if she’s been in recent physical contact with them

She dates Shawn in season 2 but breaks up with him after her dad dies, not sure if they ever get back together or not

Jemma and Isabelle become fast friends, with child Isabelle subtly dubbing Jemma her favorite non-4400, and adult Isabelle relating to her because they’re sort of oddities compared to the actual 4400

Still not 100% sure on DRR as Jemma’s faceclaim, but she’s definitely giving Collier vibes, especially in Legacies season 4
