Obsessed with pieces of media with two or more characters that have like,, that kind of friendship - the kind where they’re so close they could be siblings, and the piece of media is loyal to their dynamic that by the end of the story one of them either gets officially adopted into the other’s family, or their respective parents get married, or they find out at the end that they actually ARE family 🥺 it’s so special to me
Is it like a bad thing to really really love the dynamic of two or more characters and want to consume more of that dynamic but like, not at all find anything even remotely resembling ‘shipping’ or anything romantic at all in that dynamic? Like. Can we as fandoms coin a version of “shipping” that isnt romantic at all but is just as important and has like special names the way ships do and we treat it as seriously as shipping? But it’s entirely platonic? Like what if there’s a romantic shipname and then a separate platonic shipname to differentiate the two. Idk 😭 I’m just spitballing here
Did I ever tell you that I really like the books of Cressida Cowell and that I really can't stand any of the Dreamworks adaptations?
It's actually because I enjoyed the books so much that I was so sorely disappointed by the films and the series.

I am a very big fan of the first httyd movie (on it’s own) but the rest don’t hold up as well and the quality (storytelling-wise) starts to crumble the further you go into the story 😔
But the books do not have this issue!!! They are amazing from start to finish, and the deeper you go in, the more gold it has to offer, instead of the other way around 🩷 i’m not a very eloquent person but i’m sure you understand what i’m getting at haha
I will continue spreading how to train your dragon books propaganda 🫡 for your sake if no one else’s

But those are just the most iconic ones! Pretty much any and all the wildlife in botw and totk have an extreme attention to detail that makes me stop to appreciate them. I greatly recommend this video too
