A good article explaining the reasoning behind the hatred towards THAT FILM THAT WASN’T EVEN JEM (aka. Jon M. Chu's train-wreck, "Jem and the Holograms: The Movie"). It wasn't simply because the film had NOTHING AT ALL to do with the original series/characters - it was the blatant disregard and rude, abusive manipulation of the original cartoon's fans which was inexcusable. Jem Fanbase : Oh, well, I'm glad you asked. This cartoon was my earliest exposure to a positive environment for me to grow. It was a great inspiration for me growing up, with it being an amazing role model for me to live up to. I wouldn't be the person I am without it.
