Oh hey, it’s the kinda day when I want to come across one of those idiotic tweets or posts about how easy it is to put aside money and have savings, because:

I was thinking that I’ll be okay this week for money, and would make it without borrowing out of a stash that’s technically my money but not really (a small inheritance). Alas, no, because a direct debit happened, and now my account if at €3.50 for the next two days. And then I have two unpaid bills, and another debit going out on Thursday, when I also need to get groceries. Oh and another bill heading my way next week, the kind that I can’t flake out on since otherwise it’ll mean no heat and a 150€ reconnection fee. 

Fuck adulting. 

And the absolute irony is that I was absolutely not in the slightest better off when working. If anything, it was worse. Just, fuck everything. And fuck every single privileged asshole who thinks saving up is so bloody easy. For the record: there are no avocado toasts or Starbucks in my daily or weekly meals. But I guess I could not eat. Or something. 

Anyway. End of rant.
