the late night had slowly turned into morning , all of a sudden aware of the black turning golden and warm over the horizon . she hadn’t meant to sleep over at the mansion ( if you could call staying up all night to work out the kinks of a new encryption program SLEEPING ) but when duty calls , it shouts . the sound of the front door swinging open had gone unnoticed by the parisian as she moved about the pixels , pushing her glasses on top of her head whilst leaning closer to the screen . it doesn’t help , but it’s just the thing to do she supposes . jenna only glances around when she feels someone stand behind her , nearly jumping out of her skin to be met with , UGH --- dick . “ fils de pute !! you scared me ---- home late , aren’t you ? ”

blue light blockers slide down her nose a half inch , heaving an annoyed scoff from the back of her throat before her laptop is quickly closed . was it the inconvenience of the glasses , or the awareness of someone just a bit too close for comfort that brought the noise ? maybe both . --- yes . definitely both . “ et maintenant , what NOW ? can you get out of my space ? you are so close . ”
