I just wanted to say I really like your spiritmatsu au especially because I work with that kind of stuff and it's all pretty accurate!!

Ah!! Thank you!! I’m not sure what I’m basing it on, I just got inspired by anime like Mushishi, Mononoke, and Natsume Yuujinchou. I guess, it’s a bit like Shintoism? Though I don’t think I have yokai in this AU, just... spirits of varying levels of maliciousness and benignity. It’s a mixture of a bunch of things.

Anyways! Because there’s not really any set rules on spirits in this AU, I guess a lot of liberties can be taken!
