Ah yes, the Angel Specialist. Dr Enoch do you have any suggestions for Satan? He seems to be suffering from poor balance in his flight lately to the point where he almost crashes, and I fear my abilities can only go so far, what is your diagnosis?
To be honest, I would not consider myself an “Angel Specialist.” @your-narrator has much more knowledge when it comes to anything in the realm of angels or Heaven. It would be more appropriate to consider me a “Demon Specialist.”
Though I will certainly make a special exception when it comes to Satan.
Its important to remember that Satan is an unusual case. Despite his angelic biology, he has the behaviorism and mannerisms of a demon. So I should be able to make an educated guess on whatever is afflicting him.
Okay, I think I understand. You said that he can’t seem to fly properly and he has improper balance too. Well it sounds like the source of this problem clearly originates from his feathers.
Its possible that Satan might be molting his feathers.
Birds will often molt their feathers as a hormonal response to seasonal changes. These are known as annual molts and they usually occur during the Autumn and Spring months. These annual molts result in the bird being able to acquire their own summer coat and their own winter coat. Depending on the coat in question, it’ll have a different purpose and probably be a different color.
I’d say its the right time of the year for Satan to be going through his annual molt and acquiring his winter coat of feathers. But that means molting his summer coat of feathers first.
While many birds will go through a partial molt so they will not inhibit their ability to fly, I’ve heard of birds who go through a full molt all at once. They’ll end up losing all their flight feathers and it will heavily affect their ability to fly correctly.
Now as I stated originally, molting is the result of hormonal changes… so I wouldn’t be surprised if Satan is extremely hormonal right now.
I’d imagine that he probably is quite embarrassed over losing his feathers, so he’s trying to hide his molt from you. But I’d rather you don’t confront him about my suspicions because if he is in the process of molting, then he’s probably dealing with mood-swings.
I recommend looking around the condo for any places where he might have hidden his molted feathers.
If my suspicions are confirmed, then please let me know.
