My main #art piece I shared at #MedX at @stanford.med for the conference. My #spine is degenerating & no one can explain why it's happening so fast. This is so vulnerable I can't even name it yet. Yes, this is a nod to #Dali and #fridakahlo as they are huge inspirations for me. This is #autoimmune. This is #chronicpain. This is #stiffness & fighting to get out of bed. Otw home from #MedX ED at @stanfordmedx in Palo Alto, CA. This is a painting in my living room I did with my bestie a year ago when I graduated with my BS degree after struggling through with my health, all while working 40 hrs, raising 2 kids, & being a wife. I am tired and had a great time but so happy to be heading home to Texas. #MedX Thanks so much! Such an amazing experience. I'm glad I did it and feel honored to have been chosen. 1 more presentation! Room LK306 at 11:53 am - Creating a better model for doctor patient relationships. I want #doctors to get in the weeds. They need to know the nitty gritty details of #chronicillness patient stories. #MedX @stanfordmedx Trying to #calm & rejuvenate in the quiet room as I'm struggling with the pace and early mornings. It's so hard to get up in the morning when you feel like you have a hangover, then were run over by a truck, and finally that you were the #tinman left out in the rain in the Wizard of Oz. Thankfully, they're willing to listen and learn how to better care for ePatients that attend.
