so there’s this boy who is my best friend, legit my rock, and we’re both naturally flirty people even if we don’t mean it and i’ve never thought a thing about it. well last night hosted a party and he kept on coming up to me (probably 20 times)to tell me how i was super pretty and he was being super sweet but he would always follow it by saying “i’m not trying to flirt with you though” and i don’t know why it upset me so much but it did. it felt like the compliments just weren’t as sincere.
