Love the percussion and that kick-ass contra alto clarinet bassline!

Jeremy Diffey performs his piece “Contraption” for a “large” clarinet quartet: 2 Bb basses, 1 Eb contra alto, 1 contrabass.
From his album imPossibilities: Explorations in Wood & Steel.
A minimalist piece, the music is evocative of a large machine, where each clarinet plays it's part. Each part changes gears throughout the piece, with some dense chordal movement towards the end.
This is the low clarinet quartet video I’ve been waiting for! I love the low, dark, mysterious sound.
