So I don't know how many of you in either tag have played FFXV or AC beyond the Origins crossover stuff, but...

Noctis and Desmond have a lot in common.

Self-sacrificial bastards with a long lasting family legacy who need to die to save the world and have a weird relationship with their fathers, with a certain amount of running from responsibility.

They're both also kind of impulsive chosen ones forced into things against their will (both prophecies, too).

I don't know why I'm pointing this out beyond "I identify heavily with both of them" but. I think it's neat to notice that two franchises that crossed over have similar protags. I wonder, since AC exists in FFXV as a game series Noctis obviously played, did he see himself in Desmond? Or were the AC games that existed in FFXV completely different from the AC games we got in our world?
