So for my example of bad typography, I have chosen this menu from a restaurant. I feel it is a great example of bad typography. It is a great place to eat however besides having the logo on every page at that size. The have a terribly chosen the typeface gill sans wich says enough. It is very unorganized and makes a horrible reading experience. Definitely not a crystal goblet. The titles of each category are in all lowercase while the body text is in all uppercase it's super strange. This making it strenuous on the reader and it doesn't have a title to any of the menu items, just a list of ingredients. The “pizzas” looks like it is the hardest to understand; looks like a list of toppings that the customer can choose from to make their own pizza. There is also no differentiation in the prices and the menu items. I keep feeling like that's it but then I notice something else; both the heading and the leading is too tight which is cause the letters to get jumbled. So the only thing this menu has done great is making a great example of bad typography. Great Job!
Oh, and the thumb margin is smaller than the spine margin in the asymmetrical layout.
