Many xenoscientists in your Local Group have advised their populations to remain radio spectrum-silent until you are deemed safe enough to join with the larger interstellar neighborhood. Many alien species express an interest in human beings, but I am unsure whether you would recognize them as alive at all, let alone be able to coexist with them.
So your options are somewhat limited. Can you save up enough fuel and live long enough to make it out to Wolf 359? There is a group of Neutral former Autobots living on a planet in that system. That star is very red, very dim, and very peaceful. Or consider the Titans. The Talarian faction there is pro-freedom, pro-democracy, but they are opposed by Jeronians, and it may all seem too close to home for you. Finally, as a last resort, I know that Voin are looking for primate specimens, but I cannot recommend this course of action to you.
