Jacob (Vjjay) and Jerry (JAWSOMO) are two friends out of San Diego who not only share a passion for good music (and Asian girls) but a background in musical instruments as well. The only difference is that Jacob is actually good at playing the saxophone, and Jerry doesn't even know what a piano looks like anymore. Given this slight musical disparity in training, tenacity, and talent, one would think that Jacob is way better than Jerry at pretty much anything he does. One would be correct.
In 2009, Jerry had the audacity to introduce Jacob to nu-disco, which turned Jacob into a complete Treasure Fingers dickrider. That was about the time he lost every motivation to do well in his chemistry classes and focused solely on making sweet baby-making mixes. Jerry, a chemistry TA, didn't trade any of his school obligations for DJing talent and ended up being able to pretend to help Jacob in his studies, thus forging a newer and better friendship -- a friendship 2.0 -- bonded both in chemistry and in the beautiful sound of Asian women.
To this day, the two of them have zero awards, accolades, residencies, or record deals, but Vjjay does have one track on beatport he regrets releasing.

My musical background is mainly rooted in drumming and percussion, which I did for about 7 years. This
is what spawned my love for drum & bass music, hiphop, jazz, and turntablism in general.
