Jerry Wallach's original dream was to make movies like Walt Disney, and Swashbuckler's Island was an avenue that he once ventured down in pursuit of that dream. However, it became corrupted as he begun obsession on how Snow White and the Seven Dwarves was a money making scheme and became primarily focused on movies making money during college and his time at Pinnacle Pictures. He also didn't want to admit that he admired Walt Disney movies as a kid, so the fascination with making money was a cover story that he told in his autobiography.
