A golden sunset over in Jerusalem, Israel
Jerusalem first impressions...
“My dear ones, God’s providence rules the world, and not we sinful people… There are no forgotten ones in God, and God’s Providence sees everyone. And God rules the world, only God and no one else… My dears, children of God, believe in God and trust Him! Bring everything in life—both joy and gloom, prosperity and evil days—as the mercy and truth of the Lord’s ways. And fear nothing in life but sin. There are no accidents in life and cannot be; God the Provider rules the world, and every circumstance has its higher spiritual meaning, and is granted by God for the fulfillment of this eternal goal—to come to the knowledge of God.”

“We rejoice because we have something which all the death and corruption of this world cannot take away, that is, the eternal Kingdom of Jesus Christ.”

“To dig deeper into the Lenten season means to reflect on this Garden, the Garden of Gethsemane, means “garden of the olive press.” An olive picked off the tree is hard and bitter. The olive is most valuable when it’s pressed beyond recognition to produce good oil. We, too, must get rid of the hardness, bitterness, ego, pressed and squeezed. And, like the processing of an olive, we too, have to be salted in the truth and soaked in the living water. To observe Lent is to to walk with Jesus in the difficult seasons of life, so that we see the result of the hope, truth, and purpose that lies within Jesus’ arrest and crucifixion.”
