Personality

Jerzy is a very excitable boy who likes to take it easy and party when he's not herding first years around. He's gained a bit of a reputation for being Heartslabyul's greatest living contradiction: while by day he is a model student, following every rule and eager to help underclassmen and classmates alike, by night Jerzy sneaks out and parties with the town's local teens, not returning to NRC until the early hours of the morning, if he returns at all (though thankfully that bit's only on weekends).

Background

Jerzy is your typical boy-crazy eighteen year old, nothing extraordinarily sad or dramatic here! He lives with his father in the Rose Kingdom, where it's been just the two of them for as long as he can remember. It's a little tough sometimes, but they get through it together. Jerzy was ecstatic to find out he had been invited to Night Raven (what's more gender affirming than a magic mirror recognizing you?), and the job opportunities afterward would be incredible!

Unique Magic

Jerzy's unique magic is called 'Starry Eyes'. When active, Jerzy has the ability to overlay odd 'filters' onto the target's vision, obscuring things or changing how the world looks to them. This lasts indefinitely, but does fade a bit the longer it's used and can only be used on one target at a time.

Trivia

Jerzy uses Starry Eyes quite often, usually when he's sneaking off campus during the night.

He likes to use hair chalk to color the feathers of his wings.

He's allergic to cats

Jerzy isn't as sneaky as he thinks he is; he likely holds the record for Earliest Use of Off With Your Head, at 3 AM.

Corbie: What's the most romantic gift you've ever given? Ever gotten?

The fae pouts and crosses his arms. "You're trying to stump me, aren’t you? There's no way I'll be able to pick a 'most romantic' out of all the gifts I've given! Things I've gotten, however... Vil found a pair of clover earrings that match my mother's barrette, and told me that this way I could wear a piece of her everywhere without worrying about the barrette being damaged..."

Corbie smiles, their feathers fluffing up at the warm memory.

"I'm sure it exists - Dad says that's how it was with mom after all - but I can't say I've ever experienced it myself. So, yeah, I believe in it, but maybe not for me."

"No romantic heartbreak here. But I did lose a friend, back in middle school when they found out I wasn't born a boy." The beastkin sighs sadly, crossing his arms.

"It hurt... for a while, too... but I think I'm better off without them, yeah?"
