Oh yeah, speaking of good songs and a worthy winner, this could do it for FYROM/North Macedonia. PLEASE MAKE THEM WIN, and hopefully they won’t ruin the staging as every year. This song is amazing, ethnic, and a nice ballad.

Place 7-POLAND

Roksana Węgiel-Anyone I Want to Be 

Certainly Poland is making up their game in the JESC since they returned on 2016, and this song is one of my faves to win it all, or maybe give them their best result ever. Roksana has a good voice, the song is something I’d hear after the contest and why not, a contender for Poland’s first victory.

Place 14-AZERBAIJAN

Fidan Huseynova-I Wanna Be Like You

Before the revamp this song was my second-to-last place, now it grew up on me and they included more Azerbaijani in the song, which is something good because it’s a language that I don’t know so much. Her voice is lovely and with the perfect support, it’s a likely dark horse within the juries.

JESC 2018 Results

Poland: I expected it, loved the staging and she has a great voice. Totally deserved winner.

France: UGH SO CLOSE, a right runner up, now it's time to make up their game at ESC, they can do it

Australia: Unexpected, she won the jury vote but I missed something in her voice and the overall performance.

Ukraine: Amazing, totally deserved, I thought this would have ended lower because of the running order

Malta: WHY THIS FINISHED TOP 5?

Kazakhstan: WHY THIS FINISHED OUTSIDE THE TOP 5? MY WINNER NOOOOOO

Italy: This was very unexpected for me, I think the staging was the key for this result

Georgia: Deserved result, the staging was good

Armenia: Unexpected for me but I saw it coming

Russia: Totally unexpected, IMO one of Russia's weakest entries ever

Belarus: A bit higher but I was expecting it

FYROM: Ok this was a total surprise, thought it was top 10 material

The Netherlands: Unexpected, I saw this in the top 10 but the performance was a bit of a letdown

Israel: Higher than expected

Ireland: YAAAAS HE DIDN'T COME LAST I KNEW IT

Azerbaijan: Maybe it was too cute for the juries and the people

Albania: This also was a surprising result for me, I saw this top 10

Portugal: This song was dead when the running order was announced so expected

Serbia: Expected, the staging was boring

Wales: I think this was a bit surprising but the performance wasn't great actually
