There’s a lot to this one, so I might write an analysis post for it in a little bit. I don’t think I’ll break down all my comics, though, since then where’s the fun for the readers to figure things out themselves? ;)c

I always love reading people’s analyses though. It makes me happy that people dig into all the little details of my work (and makes me want to add more details).

No Strings Attached Master Post

(I’ll be updating this post as I make more for the au!)

No Strings Attached (abbreviated as NSA! Or Strings!) was originally an older comic, but I’m rebooting this AU and making a new comic with slightly tweaked lore and doing it all from the top. The old stuff will still be up on my blog, but I’ll only link material that’s canon to this iteration of the AU I’m currently writing. (So if you want to go see how it used to be, check out the tag “#No Strings Attached” and scroll down a bunch.)

Plot: Cohosts of the hit sketch comedy and variety puppet show TV Time, Antony “Ant” Tenna (human Tenna) and Spencer G. Spielman (human Spamton), hit a rut in their blossoming careers when Spencer can’t take being a puppeteer any longer. Rather than fleeing, he makes one last deal with his benefactor that he comes to regret after he snaps his strings for good.

No Cords Attached (abbreviated to NCA! Or Cords!) - Tenna gets turned into his character, and Spencer is left to deal with the consequences. (Has a lot of art under the tag “#No Cords Attached”)

No Strords Attached (yes, I know. Abbreviated to Strords!) - Spencer and Tenna get turned into their characters, hilarity ensues. Or drama ensues. But at least they’re going through it together.

(Less common spinoffs) Swap!No Cords Attached - Human swap au Spamtenna have to deal with this situation. Tenna becomes a little hand puppet.

Swap!No Strings Attached (concept by @hey-every) - Swap!Spencer gets turned into a computer program/hologram.

(And I’m not sure how much it counts as a No Strings Attached spinoff, but I’ll list it because everyone seems to love the bird AU—) No Feathers Attached - Spencer… becomes a birdlike semi human/monster (basically becomes an Addison if you headcanon them to be birdlike) (See more under the tag “#bird spamton”)

Prepping some notes and backstory lore for No Strings Attached… most of this has already been said in the past, but I’m probably gonna make a master post for this au and thought I might as well put it all together in a couple pages!

Tenna was so big it cut off his little hair antennas… also this shit isn’t scaled accurately but… damnit. Pretend it is. The idea is there..

Time to take these fuckers for a ride they’ll never forget
