I drive up and down that stretch allllll the time!
My husband and his entire extended family are from that area, and we went to law school together about an hour down the road. We used to laugh about this sign allllllll the time back in the day because back then we were 12 year old boys trapped in 24 year old bodies. Apparently the only thing that’s changed is our age, lol. ;)

OMG LOL! jeeno you’re in my old hood! unfortunate name aside, there is a pretty nice mall on that road…
I’ve been there! In fact, I registered for my wedding shizz there back before one could do such things online, lol

The number of the exit is kind of the immature cherry on top, there.
Basically everything about this exit sign is my favorite thing ever.
Tearing down walls. Agh! So perfect! You wrote down so many of my personal headcanons. It's always the best when writers hit on them exactly right! Loved reading it. Thanks for sharing it!
Thank you very much!! I’m so glad you liked it!! :D

Fanfic Reader Thursday!
Because seriously, y’all, you make me so happy <3
you know what else makes me happy? this synchronized hug. that’s right. get it gurls!
Piggybacking off of @chocolatequeennk‘s excellent idea, I’ma do a shout-out to some truly excellent folks who keep me writing. Brace yourself: this post might be a little sticky-sweet.
First, not gonna lie: I get pretty excited anytime anyone likes, reblogs, or leaves any kind of comment or review on a story. I look through it all and I appreciate it all tremendously, so even if your name is not mentioned below, I have seen your comments and feedback and I deeply appreciate them and you are the best! I started writing and posting fic convinced that it would go unnoticed or ignored at best, hated at worst, and I’m just now coming out of a really hideous spell of anxiety-depression-inspired writer’s block to where I can eke words out and post them again, so I can’t even describe how wonderful it is when someone leaves so much as a kudo. Thank you for your readership and your patience!
But the people mentioned below are just really especially welcoming and friendly, really going above and beyond. These following peeps not only have been awesome enough to read and reblog and comment on my fics, but they have been sweet enough to reach out and talk to me and just really welcome me into the wonderful RTD fandom over the last year and a half. As much as your wonderful comments, reviews, asks, reblogs, and messages are so very, very appreciated, the fact that you’re all such lovely and gracious people just blows my mind! <3 <3 <3
In no particular order...
@arynrds fellow Muse nerd and creator of this fantastic giftie, always friendly and understanding; you’ve messaged me about my fic and it has made me SO EXCITED that someone was so invested in the story! It made my week! ^^
@gingergallifreyan 1) great url, 2) fantastic tags and comments and sense of humor, 3) love seeing your stuff on my dash! And 4) also an all-around lovely individual. :3
@zoebelle9 also a fellow Muse nerd, which means your taste is impeccable. ;) Any time you like or reblog one of my fics, I’m super happy, because I feel like I must have done something right. I also love seeing your fanfic writer Wednesday posts. And also thank you for being patient when I tag you in a million meme thingies. :’D
@jessamarie05 I am delighted as hell anytime you reblog something of mine, whether it’s a fic or random meta. And you’ve definitely sent an ask or two that brightened my day tremendously! I love whenever I see you engaging people in the fandom! :)
Basically, you are all friendly, thoughtful, fantastic people who just make this corner of fandom really special. You all make this feel like a community. So, thank you!
