«For me, dancing means connectedness with a deeper sense of self. I find its ephemeral nature, especially on stage, draws many parallels to the fleeting quality of life. I love the challenge that it presents to both the dancer and the audience. I also love how the spectrum of dance allows for the most radical forms of self and collective expression, the essence of which I believe to be something tactile; something that needs to be seen live and felt in order to be fully appreciated.»
