I capelli biondo scuro danno l’idea che abbia cercato di dare loro qualche apparenza di forma, ma poi ci abbia rinunciato. Ha gli occhi color verde palude, ma luminosi e fin troppo intensi, e la barba di due giorni che gli copre la mascella squadrata non può nulla per nascondere la bellezza dei lineamenti. Quest’uomo ha su di me un effetto devastante. E’ il lord del Maniero?

So because I'm.always late to the party because I live under a rock, I just found out that not only was This Man by Jodie Ellen Malpas gonna get a movie last year but it also got added not long after. No surprise at all. This Man is completely unfilmable. Fifty Shades and After had to be cleaned up because nobody was gonna root for an abusive relationship where the guy is an absolute ass to the heroine but This Man was even worse. Jesse is an possessive caveman who never leaves Ava alone, he has massive anger issues and isolates and even "marks" Ava so she and everyone knows that she's his property. He never respects her boundaries and is inappropriate. He doesn't care about her, only that he gets want he wants and that she "has to please understand and accept that" and that's not even getting into his Deep Dark Secret that tears them apart at the end of the first book. People already saw how bad Christian/Ana and Tessa/Hardin was and the movies tried to clean them up. No way will This Man ever work, ESPECIALLY if they are faithful to Jesse's behavior. So no wonder if got canned and they have to figure out how to "make it work" and let's see how long that will take them before they realize.
