Here is a short paragraph from Jessica Ghawi on her thoughts of the Eaton Shootings, that she narrowly missed. I think it's important quote and I hope it gets put out into the world for everyone to hear and understand. "I say all the time that every moment we have to live our life is a blessing. So often I have found myself taking it for granted. Every hug from a family member. Every laugh we share with friends. Even the times of solitude are all blessings. Every second of every day is a gift. After Saturday evening, I know I truly understand how blessed I am for each second I am given." She was fatally wounded in the Aurora Shootings, a girl who aspired to become a sports broadcaster and had gone to live in Colorado to follow her dreams. She was taken too soon. I know that tonight when I tell my mother goodnight, it will have special meaning and something I just say because I do.
