I would personally like to offer my condolences to all of those affected by the Aurora shootings of last week. My prayers are with all of you.

     Here is a short paragraph from Jessica Ghawi on her thoughts of the Eaton Shootings, that she narrowly missed. I think it's important quote and I hope it gets put out into the world for everyone to hear and understand.       "I say all the time that every moment we have to live our life is a blessing. So often I have found myself taking it for granted. Every hug from a family member. Every laugh we share with friends. Even the times of solitude are all blessings. Every second of every day is a gift. After Saturday evening, I know I truly understand how blessed I am for each second I am given."       She was fatally wounded in the Aurora Shootings, a girl who aspired to become a sports broadcaster and had gone to live in Colorado to follow her dreams. She was taken too soon. I know that tonight when I tell my mother goodnight, it will have special meaning and something I just say because I do.

My heart and prayers go out to everyone effected and involved!

When tragedy strikes we seem to indulge. I don't know if it is out of interest, obsession, or if it is out of sympathy. It takes tragedy for the country to come together. 

I have no words as to what happened in Colorado, but my heart aches for the victims and their families. Their lives should not have been taken the way that they were taken. To those that escaped and are doing well now, God bless you all. 

I hope that we can all learn from this, and realize that life is a gift given to all, however life is short and you need to live everyday like it is your last. Do things that you have always wanted to do. Follow your dreams. Live life with no regrets. 

You never know when your last day is.
