A part of him probably would be happy, though, and I’m curious to see how his dynamic would change with everybody… but wait. Couldn’t he just have Elena or someone change him back?

Yeah I'd love to see how it would pan out, but maybe just for a few episodes. I definitely think he deserves it after everything this season I just don't want him to feel humiliated. When he said he couldn't think about anything being more miserable than being human, that was definitely the biggest lie he has told so far! Right? :)
