OKAY FINE I MADE A DATE EVERYTHING OC BASED ON MY THRIFTED JESTER BOOKENDS...................... his name is Riddle and because he's based on my bookends, the details of his outfit are things that are also on my shelf!
design notes:
when thinking about how to make bookends a character, i thought about a character that is supportive, structured, organised and dependable, which made me things like paladins and knights, which ties into the medieval vibe of jesters!
instead of bells, the garb includes a ring, a die, a bottle of rocks, a glow-in-the-dark star, a sculpted mushroom, a bottlecap, a techdeck, a coin, and a small gnome, and the knees are 8-balls - my room has a lot of clutter and i wanted to reflect that
i think its fun to have a pencil pollarm and a book shield, they're not practical they're just fun ✋
i think his romance arc is about you solving riddles for him, but also getting him to let down his guard a little bit and let others help him rather than trying to do it all - also because he's a guard/knight type figure, there would be a fun friendly interaction with dorian, and maybe also chance trying to get him to play G&G lol
