My entry for the ComicStyle Challenge on the Amino App. Comic book style of choice: Sweetie, from Action Lab!
I decided to make this cover for my AU, called The New Commission of Corona Cross, which acts as a sequel to One Pace From Disgrace.
The story is that the daughter of Star and Marco is destined to be the next Master of Order, and she goes on a journey to find four other people worthy of forming the new Magic High Commission, since the last one disbanded.(I've gotten permission to use other OCs in this cover.)

So, y’all remember my theory about Jester being an owl + a spider?
Like spiders, jester has carefully built his home over time; a sanctuary that offers refuge and comfort from the outside world.
He patiently waits for the perfect moment to trap his pray on his web, once you are in his claws there is no way out.
And just like spider’s webs, humans can easily come and destroy his home like it was nothing.
Yet, he perseveres everytime his family has to built everything up again and again.

The Jester theory goes along with my Prophecy of the Four Suites theory and my Black Magic theory, and plays a role in my One Pace From Disgrace AU. The idea is that there are different aspects of magic that can be controlled by different types of people. Either:
1. There are three different types of magic: light magic wielded by Mewmans, black magic wielded by monsters, and dark magic wielded by both
2. Or there are four aspects of magic which are wielded by different bearers of cheek emblems: the Diamond of Light, the Spade of Darkness, the Clover of Entropy, and the Heart of Creation (Festivia and Moon are both Diamonds of Light, and Jushtin and Meteora are both Clovers of Entropy).
Whether one or both of these are true, my ultimate theory is that there are certain people who can wield all forms of magic, and that person is called a jester. The first jester was Rhea, the first queen of Mewni, whose greed and desperation to keep magic all for herself and away from the monsters convinced her to change the form of the Realm of Magic to where only Mewmans could wield it. She stripped monsters of their ability to wield magic, and now the Realm of Magic is out of balance, Light Magic being the dominant force.
In order to restore balance, all forms of magic must be present in the Realm. So there's a prophecy that another jester will be born and fix the Realm of Magic for good.
