I do consider that good faith! As long as the intentions are good, it's good faith!

Obviously, being transid of a mental illness for the aesthetic for example, while being good faith, is another issue, as it does hurt the people suffering from it (it stigmatises and minimalises the mental illness in this example).

Still, to me, educating people who do it, kindly and without forcing them to change, is the best option here. /g

Not to say it's on the same level of censorship, obviously, to me that doesn't need to be said. But someone who can't make a distinction between liking things in fiction and thinking they're okay IRL probably needs the clarification.
