Christopher Johnson Vows To Keep Adam Gase As Long As He Keeps Sniffing Baby Powder
ESPN talks about the Knicks AGAIN!
Why does ESPN hate the Knicks? I get it, the only way to get eyes on the TV is to go at the biggest, most passionate fanbase. It’s a proven business model.
This week on a show nobody watches
Pseudo-Basketball analysts, Snoopy and Embalmed James Harden graded the Knicks strengths and weaknesses
Thank you ESPN. Who better to grade the Knicks than a cartoon dog and the guy who looks like Rick Ross if he went to law school
Come on ESPN producers, be a little more creative. How about we do a 30 for 30 on Stephen A's barber? How does that guy finish his haircut with a straight face?
In Jets news,
Sam Darnold and Klay Thompson were seen together shooting jumpers in a gym which can only mean one thing to Jets fans
He's nothing like Tim Tebow and Christian Hackenberg who suck at two sports
Hackenberg, who decided to try baseball, has been hitting 90 miles per hour with his fastball but has been throwing straight into the dirt
An article was published recently on why the Jets should not give Jamal Adams a contract extension this year.
Uhhh here's two reasons, he's only legally assaulted someone with his helmet and he hasn't tried to cover up a robbery
Mo Wilkerson got a huge extension and he never tackled a Patriots mascot
Darrelle Revis recently celebrated his 35th birthday.
Football is the only sport where you can be great and immediately washed by 32.
35 is so young! When I was 35 my money caught up to my looks and it's been downhill ever since
I can't believe he's retired! He’s being fitted for a Gold jacket and on my 35th I got a Revis jersey.
Darrelle Revis named Jets Player of the Decade by ESPN
How bad have Jets players been when you play for two other teams and are still the player of the decade
Happy Birthday champ. Congratulations on being the Jets second best Cornerback behind Dee Millner

Jets signed Mo Wilkerson to a five year deal worth 86 million
Mo Wilkerson has been signed to a long term deal
The New York Jets announced that they’ve signed franchise DL Muhammad Wilkerson to a multi-year extension. This was a huge shock, because many believed he would be traded or allowed to walk after free agency.
The Jets made sure they locked up Mo and I believe it was a very smart move. The deal was only for 37 million guaranteed, that is a good deal.
Jason La Canfora reports that Wilkerson receives a five-year, $86 million contract with $37 million fully guaranteed and $54 million over the next three years.

Steve McLendon does not want the Jets fans to look at him like Damon Harrison
Steve McLendon does not want fans to look at him as if he is filling in for Damon Harrison
The New York Jets lost their massive defensive tackle Damon “Snacks” Harrison to free agency when the Giants threw some big time money at him. His replacement Steve McLendon is not new to the NFL though, but he does not want the fans to look at him like he is filling the shoes of Snacks.
“I’m not taking over for him,” McLendon told NJ Advance Media during minicamp. “I’m just coming here to play football. He went somewhere else. I came here. So it’s not like I’m taking over for anybody.”
McLendon does not want fans to look at him as if he is filling the shoes of Damon Harrison.
“Nope,” he said. “Because we’re two different people, and two different players.”
“Most definitely,” McLendon said. “He was like the traditional nose tackle, do it all. Big, strong, explosive. I’m not as big as him. My game is built off quickness and strength. I try to stay light. Using my hands a little bit more, because I know I’m probably not going to be able to … I mean, I can hold double teams.
“But big Damon Harrison, he’s a monster. He’s a monster, man. He’s big and strong. And he can move. That’s why I said we’re two different players. I really can’t say I’m a nose tackle. I’m a defensive tackle. He’s a traditional nose tackle. I’m a defensive tackle.”

Jets placed Jerome Cunningham on the waivers; Sign an undrafted running back
The NY Jets signed another running back today
The New York Jets announced Tuesday that they’ve placed TE Jerome Cunningham on waivers and signed RB Romar Morris to a contract.
Morris, one of the 22 tryout players at the Jets’ recent rookie minicamp, is a 5’9″, 190-pound back out of North Carolina. He played in 50 games with 13 starts over his four seasons with the Tar Heels. For his career he had 213 carries for 1,024 yards (4.8 yards/carry) and 12 touchdowns and added 54 receptions for 499 yards (9.2 yards/catch) and two TDs.
The team released Jerome Cunningham in a corresponding move. The team claimed Cunninham off the waivers a few weeks ago from the Giants.

#Jets have signed small school cornerback Bryson Keeton; Release veteran tight end
Jets have signed Montana state cornerback Bryson Keeton
Today the New York Jets released veteran tight end Adrien Robinson. In a corresponding move the Jets signed former Montana State standout defensive back Bryson Keeton.
Keeton was a former transfer from Nevada, who had a solid season in 2015 for the Bobcats. Keeton has NFL bloodlines as his cousin Ted Brackens played for Jaguars, uncle Sylvester Cooper played for Rams.
Robinson was with the Giants and released recently. He has been in the league for several years, but will now have to hit the waiver wire.

Jets have released defensive lineman Kevin Vickerson from the I/R
The Jets announced Wednesday that they’ve released veteran DL Kevin Vickerson from the injured reserve list.
Vickerson, 32, signed a one-year contract worth $950,000 with the Jets back in March. However, he wound up being placed on season-ending injured reserve a few weeks ago.
Vickerson was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Michigan State.
Vickerson has also been a member of the Tennessee Titans, Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs.

Jets worked out former Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor
Terrelle Pryor is working out for the Jets today
Dianna Marie Russini of ESPN reports that free agent WR/QB Terrelle Pryor is expected to work out for the Jets as a receiver in the coming days.
Pryor had a work-out a few days ago with the Patriots. Pryor was released last week by the Browns to make room for former Seahawks running back Robert Turbin. While thin at the wideout position, Cleveland considered Pryor the 53rd player on their roster. That rankled a portion of the fan base, who were taken by Pryor’s immense size — he’s 6-foot-5 and 232 pounds — and unique athletic gifts.
