I wish I had saved the videos of Jett’s trot before we started his new supplements for comparison but I don’t have them so you’ll have to trust me when I say this horse was practically 3-legged. MSM + Bute-less seemed to do the trick because this is a HUGE improvement to his lameness issues. Jett is 24 years old and has been out of consistent work for some time due to navicular syndrome so yeah his trot is ugly but the fact he’s moving so comfortably is what I’m excited about! (He is tripping up a bit at the end, the ground is super uneven and hard and he was getting a bit frisky lol)

Today Jett went to his new home, which is bittersweet. I’ll miss my amazing boy but he’s going to be super pampered in his new home with his new 8 year old rider. Jett’s new home will be able to provide for him better than I could have hoped to and I’m so glad I found the perfect placement for him to spend the rest of his days! Jett deserves to have a low-key job to keep him happy because he is no one-leg-in-the-grave old horse, he still has so much spunk and life and I’m glad his navicular is under control with “minimal” maintenance for now so that won’t slow him down either. He is going to be the best horse for his new little owner :,)
