When he first fell for Logan, yeah, he was pretty sure he was dying--lucky for the world, that wasn't the case. 

Now Logan was was with Kendork and Jett felt sick all over again. His chest was tight in a painful clenching way instead of the light fluttering way, and there were large knots growing in his throat and stomach, making it hard to breathe. 

He couldn't find it in him to leave his apartment and grace Hollywood with his presence when he felt this badly--and he didn't look his usual level of handsomeness either. No, his time would be better spent hauled up in his apartment and looking for a doctor that makes house calls.

Because this time, Jett was pretty sure that death was upon him.

Oblivious

STILL in a Jettgan mood, so you all might as well get on board with this.

Kendall rolls his eyes and turned to leave the living room with a grumble, leaving Logan, James, and Carlos to watch him go with amused smiles. Logan stood from the couch to greet his boyfriend with a peck on the lips. "Sorry about that," the genius motioned toward where Kendall left.

"I couldn't care less about Kendork-"

"Stop calling me that!"

James and Carlos looked down the hall when they heard Kendall yell, but Jett ignored the outburst and went on. "The producers of New Town High called a few minutes ago and we're switching to an international network."

"That's great," Logan congratulated the actor and James and Carlos gave their own words of approval. "So, what does that mean for you guys?"

"Well, I'll get even more money now," Jett started and Logan rolled his eyes. "I'm moving to New York, and most importantly, now my face gets to be seen all around the world."

The pair on the couch paused their game and slowly turned toward the couple. Logan's jaw was unhinged but Jett didn't notice as he continued to rant about how gorgeous his face would look on an HD television in another country. "You're moving to New York?" Logan interrupted the young star.

Jett stopped, seemingly annoyed at being interrupted when he was talking about himself, and quirked a brow at his boyfriend's expression of disbelief. "Yeah," he answered with a nonchalant gesture of his shoulders. "Anyway, can't you just picture how much sexier I would be if I were speaking another language?"

"You're leaving the Palm Woods...and moving to New York?" Logan asked again, eyes narrowing toward Jett.

Jett sighed, aiming a dull look at the genius. "Logan, I think you're missing the point. I'm gonna be internationally renowned. You'll be the boyfriend of an even bigger star!"

Looking awkward to still be in the room while this conversation was taking place, James and Carlos stood from the couch. "We're just gonna..."

"Be somewhere else..." James finished as they rushed out of the room and ran around the corner to their bedroom. When the door slammed shut, Logan looked back toward Jett, wearing a dangerous expression that was mixed with hurt.

"Anyway," Jett rolled his eyes at the ridiculous pair and leaned in to kiss Logan cheek, "I'm gonna go home and pack."

Bookshelves

Still in a Jettgan mood...

Jett finally got Logan placed right where he wanted and then uncovered his boyfriend's eyes. Logan was expecting some sort of "tada" moment or something spectacularly Jett, like the moment when he revealed he bought a house, but there was nothing different about the Jett's living room other than a few new bookshelves.

Logan glanced at Jett with a raised eyebrow, wondering why he would have so many extra shelves installed if he didn't read that much, and why it was supposed to be such a surprise. "They're nice," the genius finally commented. He glanced over the woodwork once more. "Do you plan on doing more reading?"

"No," Jett snorted at the idea. Why read when there would be a movie about it in a few years? "I was just thinking about how you said you had a lot of books and not a lot of shelves, so I put in more shelves here," he explained as he walked up and down the area where the new shelves were placed.

Logan nodded slowly and crossed his arms over his chest as he watched Jett. "Then I thought it would be absurd of you to have your books here--you would have to...go back and forth between your apartment and my house every time you wanted to read something..."

"So...?" Logan prompted.

"So, you should just...bring the rest of your stuff here too," Jett stated in a nonchalant tone. His eyes didn't even leave the bookshelves as he pretended to inspect them. "I mean, we both know my bed is big enough for both of us to lay in...if you get tired," he added. "And I know nothing about cooking, so you'll have to help me with breakfast, lunch, and dinner too if you're still around."

By that time, Logan was trying to hold back a wide smile.

"Oh, and you'll need a key," Jett shrugged again, "For when I'm not around and you need to get in so you can...read and stuff."

Still trying not to grin like an idiot and scare of the actor, Logan took a small step toward Jett. "Are you asking me to move in with you?"

"No," Jett waved him off and looked at him seriously. "I just think it would be a good idea for you to keep your books and stuff here, sleep here, and hang out here...with me. No one said anything about moving."

"Ah," Logan nodded in understanding, but still smirked. "Well I would love to have a place to read and stuff." He took a few more steps forward and placed a soft kiss to the actor's lips. He smiled he when felt Jett's lips curve into his own. "And I love the bookshelves."

His smile was crooked, his hair was almost as dreadful as his friends', he had zero fashion sense, and why he would rather read about Venus or whatever than who the hottest stars in Hollywood were was beyond him!

By the way, he was the hottest star in Hollywood.

But whenever he was on the receiving end of that crooked smile, and despite his hair, clothes, and boring nerdy habits, his heart beat a little faster, his mouth got drier, and his body would suddenly get over heated. He felt like he couldn't breathe and like he was going to throw up all at the same time. 

And that's why Jett was pretty sure that he was dying.

Summary: Jett's been doing some thinking...

The genius rolled his eyes but kept a playful smile. "Oh boy," he mumbled and turned a page in his book without lifting his eyes. "That's never good."

Jett grunted, brushed off the comment and scooted closer to his boyfriend. "I was flipping through channels the other day--there was a shocking lack of me on TV by the way."

Logan's lips curled further.

"So I saw this show about weddings and I started thinking about why people would want to get married..." Jett trailed off, looking down to inspect his finger nails.

The brunet blinked, finally looking up from his book to gaze at the suddenly quiet actor. "And...what did you decide?" Logan questioned when he was still met with silence.

Jett just shrugged and let out a casual breath. He reached for the remote and turned on the TV as he settled into his couch and pulled Logan closer. Logan continued to watch the TV star but Jett's attention remained on a random episode of some teen comedy that he guest starred in.

Then Logan's eyes were back on his book and Jett was sure he was into it, instead of staring at him with those big eyes. The ones that made his chest tighten and his stomach do that fluttering thing--which Logan told him meant he was nervous. 

But Jett Stetson didn't get nervous.

He just sometimes felt a little sick when it came to Logan.

He took another deep breath before he leaned toward Logan and kissed his cheek, feeling Logan's dimple press into his lingering lips. "We should get married," he whispered.

Logan suddenly shut his book and whipped around to face Jett. "I knew it!" he grinned pointing an accusing finger at the actor.

"What?"

"That you want to marry me. You act like you don't want a commitment and that you don't get why anyone would want it, but..." Logan gently bit on his bottom lip, "you love me enough to rethink all that. You actually want to marry me." The shorter man leaned in and pressed a long kiss to his boyfriend's lips.

Jett quickly became distracted by the feel of the soft lips and roaming hands and he forgot where he was even going with the conversation. But he wasn't about to make Logan stop. He pulled the brunet closer and began trailing his lips over the smooth neck, eliciting quiet moans of approval from Logan. "Is that a yes?" he asked between kisses.

"Yes," Logan pulled back to grin down at his now fiance, "definitely, yes."
