mostly the gist of it is. i have. opinions. about the way people/the game portrays Fenris and his relationship with Hawke and/or sex in general 

(aka looking at YOU Fenris/Isabela endgame ship that makes no fucking sense when Merribela is RIGHT THERE)

I’ve seen people mention that Fenris is obviously not ace a few times now, and I, ur favorite asexual, have some feelings about that which can be summed up like this:

Based on what we know about Fenris’s past and what memories he has of his life, it’s easy to make the argument that the only way Fenris really knows how to show affection is through sex with no memories of anything but Danarius,, everything else was pain or punishment and that was too probably bUT 

I’m just saying that just because he wants to have sex with Hawke does not equal Sexual Attraction it means “I care about you deeply and this is the only way I know to show it” which is a very fucked up relationship with sex and jfkdsljf

I don’t really agree that Fenris would be into a lot of ~kink~ or anything and he’s def not a sub bc like. i don’t see this man wanting to give anyone that much control over him ever ever again no matter how much he loved them and like why would you even WANT to put him in that situation anyway when you know what he’s been through?? idk idk

Anyway, all I’m saying is my Hawke is also ace-spec and I think I need to write some fIC
