Chenford + "I was made for loving you."
“Oh you were, huh,” Lucy murmurs, trailing her fingers along Tim’s flushed cheek. She loves Tim every way, but she especially loves him when he’s a few drinks in (okay, more than a few,) and can’t seem to keep his mouth shut or his hands off her. “What makes you think that, hmm – that you were made for loving me?”
“Oh I know that, baby...not a thought, it’s a fact.” Lucy rolls her eyes as Tim hums, his grin widening as he slides his hands along her waist. Lucy takes the opportunity – his hands moving, rather than gripping down against her – to slide out of his lap and stand up, laughing at the way his face shifts, his mouth curling into a frown. “Where you going?”
Lucy laughs, her face soft as Tim slides off the couch and wraps his arms around her, tipping his face down so it’s pressed into her hair. “Tim,” she grins, “I’m literally going to the kitchen to get us another drink, c’mon.” She drags her fingers along his forearm softly, her nails scratching lightly against his skin, “Sit, I’ll be back in a second.”
Tim shakes his head, his arms circling a bit tighter around her. “I’ll go,” he murmurs, kissing the top of her head, “with you.”
Lucy lets out a fake huff, but she knows Tim too well...he’s coming with her. She giggles as they make their way into the kitchen, his arms still around her, and she leans back into his chest as she reaches for the bottle of rum on the counter, tapping her fingers against the side of it as she hears Tim laughing against her neck. “I know I was made for loving you,” he mumbles, and she feels herself go lax against him, listening, “’cause the thought of sitting on the couch waiting for you to come back made me sad, baby. I just want to be with you, you know? All the time, as much as I can.”
She tips her head back and kisses the underside of his chin, as best she can reach it. “That’s funny,” she breathes, letting her nose brush against his skin for a second before she looks back down at her empty glass on the counter, “because I want to be with you all the time, too, Tim. Guess that means I was made for loving you back.”
Tim nods, his thumbs pressed lightly against her skin. “Now you’re getting it, huh?”
