“There are days I think we’re just in over our heads here.” jihoon chuckles, taking a sip from his wine glass. he glances over at his companion for the night’s gala, elena, and tilts his glass towards her in a small toast. He doesn’t usually go to events such as these, but as he was personally invited by the hosts for tonight, he felt it would be a little too rude to decline. “Don’t you think these people still see us as a couple of kids just playing grown up?”

jihoon looks up at seulgi from where he sits on the couch, his eyebrows raising and the tips of his ears turning warm. why doesn’t he have better control over his eyes, for fuck’s sake. “t-touch? touch what?” god, he sounds so dumb right now. he settles for fixing his glasses up the bridge of his nose where they’d slid down just a fraction of a centimeter instead of fiddling with his hands like he wants to do with the way her gaze settles on him.

jihoon sprawls out on the floor, one hand holding up the recent electric bill to his face, looking over the numbers with a sigh. he’s not sure how they racked up these many numbers, but he’s too tired to go and complain about it. he’s so close to searching up how much a kidney would get him, but even doing that would cost them money. he lets out a heavy sigh and lets his hand fall to the side. where are they gonna find money?
