Jaz's closet is an obsessive compulsives dream. Things are organised by type, then colour, then designer. Her underwear drawer and lingerie take up an entire section. Her closet is two floors. Apparel on the top level, accessories, shoes, bags, lingerie/sleeping things on the bottom. Her dressing table is connected to the bottom level. So is her bathroom.
Headcannon:
Jaz has "For the caged bird sings of Freedom." Tattooed on side. She got it during a break with her abusive ex boyfriend James. They got back together a year later, she wasn't sure he realised the context during their reunion. She traces it when she's nervous. She added a small image of a bird when they finally split up for good. That relationship ended in December of Last year, in almost every verse.
Kemi and Jaz spend mothers day with their grandma, but Kemi always buys something extra special for Jaz on mother's day, because Jaz raised her. Jaz just tries not to think about their mum at all, but usually ends up calling. There's usually an interaction that reinforces Jaz's belief that trust is a pointless concept, and she stays up all night-paints and watches river monster.
when kemi or jaz start singing nigerian love songs to you, it's real.
these grant children have 200,000,000 pounds - for each one of them. their dad left that for them in their trust fund, and Jaz & her brother managed the original amount he left each of the children- and grew it on the stock market and in real estate. However they make enough money not to really touch their father's money.
Jaz's closet is arranged as follows
first by style/type (shirts blouse dress)
then by colour within that, and then by designer within that.
Same for her shoes and her bags.
that is why she hates it when peasants touch things in her 2 floor closet. The top floor is for shoes and bags and the bottom floor is for like actual clothing.
