Walking through the house, I feel the drinks I’ve already had doing it’s work. I haven’t been here long, but I am feeling tipsy. I get a lot of looks. I don’t know anyone, but they seem interested, especially the boys. I hear comments like ‘Dude, would you look at that’ and ‘I’d tap that’, which is one of my personal favourites. I smile contently and walk on. If they all like the way I look, there is a big chance Dylan would too, but looking around I don’t see him anywhere. I let some air out of my nose in annoyance. I’m never able to find anyone. I decide to ask someone where he is, so I walk up to a guy with dark blond hair who is standing by the window. “Hey, have you seen Dylan?”
He looks at me with a cheeky grin and he leans back a bit, placing his elbows on the windowsill behind him. “You don’t need that Dylan guy to have fun tonight, baby.” The guy looks me up and down and he licks his lower lip.
I cross my arms and roll my eyes. “Really? That’s all you’ve got?”
“Oh, definitely not, sweet cheeks. I have a lot more, just for you.”
“Do you now?” I lift an eyebrow. “Well, where is it then?” I study his physique and I am happy with what I see. This guy is hot, even if his flirting skills aren’t the best.
“How about we have a drink first?”
“How about we skip the drink and just dance?” I propose.
I see a smile growing on his face and he wraps an arm around my waist. Then the boy leads me to the middle of the living room, where a lot of people are dancing. The music is pounding and I feel the beat through my whole body. When he finds a spot in the middle of the small crowd we start moving together. His hands are placed on my waist but after a while they travel more down and end on my butt. He squeezes lightly and whispers in my ear. “You’re so hot.” I chuckle a bit, roll my eyes and keep on moving to the beat. When I look up I see Colton standing on the side. His arms are crossed in front of him and I see that he’s clenching his jaw. I smile mischievously to him and his eyebrows turn down. I let the unknown young man place kisses in my neck and I make little sounds in response so he knows he can go on. He presses my body closer to his and he puts his right leg between mine. He looks in my eyes. His show absolute lust. I know what he wants. I bite my lip before he moves in a bit more so our his lips brush a bit against mine. My head is buzzing due to the alcohol. I look back to my brother with a sly smile, but his attention is turned to something else and my smile fades from my face when I see who Colton is talking to. The dark haired young man is looking at me and he looks hurt. He tries not to show it, because it’s all a secret, but I see he is sad. Dylan.
I let my hands drop from the boy’s neck and he looks at me questioningly. “What are you doing, baby.” He tries to pull me even closer to him, if that’s even possible. His grip tightens around me.
“I have to-“ My head starts to clear and I don’t let Dylan get out of my sight. I keep the eye contact I have with him.
“Oh, but you are staying here.” He cups my chin and turns my face so I look at him. I furrow my eyebrows and shake my head so he lets go of it, but his grip around my waist just grows stronger. “Would you please let me go?!” I squirm, but his arms are too strong for me to actually get loose.
“No, baby, you’re staying with me.” The fun I was having now turned into fear. This guy was scaring me and it was making me mad. I squirmed more. It didn’t help.
“Stop that!” He strikes me across my face and I am too shocked to fully get what he is doing next. He puts one hand behind my head and pulls my face towards him so my lips crush onto his. The kiss is rough and I try to fight it. I feel a tear leaving my eyes. The presence of his lips goes away and I hear someone shouting. I see the guy lying on the ground and Colton is standing over him. “That’s my sister, you dick!” The guy stands up and hits back but he is slow and Colton certainly isn’t. He steps aside and hits again, making the unknown bloke fall back. Colton hits again and again and again, until the guy is bleeding a lot. It’s terrible and after a while I can’t take it anymore. “Colton!” I yell. “Colton, stop!” My brother turns back to me and walks over to face me. “Let’s go.” We walk through the silent crowd and leave behind the bloody and beaten guy.
