D.I.Y Breakfast Club Scene
Did you know dandruff used in Allison's drawing for snow was made from Parmesan cheese?
We all know the 80's loved Indie Film The Breakfast Club, (directed by John Huges) a perfect coming of age film that represents the different cliques that occur in high school. there's one highly iconic scenes with the charter Allison where she is board in Saturday detention (along with the other juveniles) and begins drawing a beautiful bridge over a river in the winter. only problem she needs snow! so she naturally ruffles up her dark hair over her drawling in order for her dandruff to create a snowy effect on the drawling. while shooting this scene the production team felt that Parmesan cheese would be a good substitute for this shoot. Keep reading to learn step by step of creating your own DIY Allison snow.
Step 1:
Buy your Parmesan cheese
Step 2: Make sure your housemates are not home
Our pets don't count, they don't judge
Step 3: Attempt to draw Allison's masterpiece
Step 4: Crush cheese into dust and rub into roots of air
Step 5:
Shake hair over drawling and viola
