Peace Begins With | Jial & Skylar
Jial’s never really had a problem with people avoiding him. This mostly has to do with Lucas and Alma’s children. Jael’s the one who’s more easily approachable, ironically.
He lies on the living room couch, staring at the ceiling. His feet dangle over the armrest. Jael just left for his turn, dealing with Russia. As soon as he got back, Jial was off on his turn. Usually, they left at the same time but now Skylar’s here.
Living with them and married to his brother.
Jael’s bedroom door creaks open and Jial sighs. Skylar’s been avoiding him. She’s kinda of easy to read like that. He isn’t sure why as he actually likes Skylar.

Jial sits at the kitchen counter, nursing a cup of Alma’s stolen wine. Jael and Skylar were out on another date and who knows when they’ll be home.
I’ve been spending a lot of time alone, he thinks to himself as he finishes the drink. I wonder if Camel told Alma yet. His younger sister seemed annoyed he found the secret cache on the first time.
Also because he was stealing from his mom but the situation warrants it.
Jial doesn’t regret himself.

House Call || Vincent & Jial
He couldn’t help but to feel apprehensive. It was always on the back of his mind whenever he treated someone. What if he couldn’t save someone? Why couldn’t he do more? Those thoughts plagued him in the beginning-- when he became immortal. Now that he had more knowledge and experience, Vincent was confident. But when it came to helping his friends, he didn’t want to fail.
He was only going to do a checkup. That’s all. No sweat. Besides, his thoughts should be on the guy with snake venom running through his body.
It was strange that Jial told him to pick him up from the pet shelter. What was he doing outside when he should be resting?! Vincent grumbled most of the time driving to the shelter. He didn’t stop until he entered the shelter and spotted Jial.
“What point of resting do you not-- Nate?” Vincent began to say until he stopped short once he saw Nathan standing next to Jial with a kitten in his arms.
“...What’s with the cat?”

Nathan growled as he got off the phone with one of his associates. Another one of his shell companies got raided by the feds. It was only a matter of time before they traced Nathan’s false identity to them, or rather only a matter of time before they connected it with Jasper Crane.
This wouldn’t even be happening if the twins would have just renewed the contract. Dodging the feds on his own would cost Nathan a lot of money, not to mention an entire upheaval. The only reason he needed the twins’ help to begin with is because THEY’RE the ones who got him in trouble. Now they couldn’t even pick up the phone.
He would try one more time, Nathan decided, then he would go to their apartment and demand it. He scrolled through his contacts and hit the call button to dial Jial. At least Jial didn’t piss him off as much as his brother.

Jial flicks through his apps on his newly acquired tablet. His brother had just left for their place in the Caribbean with his also newly acquired girlfriend.
He shifts a little on his bed, hoping sleep or death can take him away from his boredom.
