Footsteps approach your bedroom, then your door opens. Someone jumps onto your bed, laying their body on top of yours.
You sniff and you smile at the very familiar scent.
"Goodmorning Jiale.." You croak in your morning voice, not moving an inch from your position.
You can feel him shift over you, planting his palms one on both your sides, "____!~ Goodmorning~!!" he half yells - half whispers cheerfully.
You smile. Usually you don't like it when someone deliberately disturbs your sleep, but when it's your boyfriend, Tang Jiale, that wakes you up, you don't mind a thing.
"What day is it?" You ask, slowly opening your eyes. Jiale has moved off of you and sit on the edge of your bed, staring at the digital clock on your bedside table.
"It's Monday."
Your eyes shot open and you immediately sit up. Crap! You hate Mondays! Turning to your alarm clock to see the time while hurriedly taking your blanket off of you, you see that it's 7:01 in Saturday.
You stop your movements, groaning in realisation when you hear Jiale laughing triumphantly. He took this opportunity to wrap his arms around you as you close your eyes once again and the both of you falling back onto the mattress.
"Gotcha~" He snickers, shifting himself to lay on his side, facing you closely. "I got you really good." He laughs again.
"If you can't tell, I'm mentally rolling my eyes." You retort, placing one of your hands on his waist and you inch closer to his warmth.
He giggles, welcoming you to his embrace. He rakes your hair with one hand while the other holds yours.
You open your eyes to finally meet Jiale's light brown orbs that you love so much. "Have you eaten?" The question is whispered softly by you, not wanting to break the soft mood.
"Yes, but it was only a banana. I came so we can make breakfast together." He says pouting. "Let's make omelette rice."
"Mhm~" You hum in agreement. "But let's stay like this for a while, I'm still not awake."
"Should I do another Monday trick again?"
You giggle at his suggestion, shaking your head. "No thank you." You say, closing your eyes when he did.
And you two laid just like that, engulfing each other's warmth. You both ended up making brunch instead of breakfast, but neither of you complained.
