Look, it was clear that Jensen was pretending not to know that Misha wears orange underwear.
I'll give you two reasons:
Everyone on the set of spn knew about Misha's orange underwear because of Rich. So Jensen must've known.
Jared once mentioned Misha's pumpkin coloured underwear in a j2 panel and Jensen said he doesn't feel comfortable talking about Misha's underwear.
Jared kept insisting on talking about Misha's underwear but Jensen said it was a spoiler alert.
Misha posted this photo with an array of orange underwear.
So 'Mr. Professional Actor' knew then that Misha always wore orange underwear but he was trying to save face by acting like he didn't know so as not to look obvious and sus but that's how it ended up looking anyway.
If he had said, "Yeah everyone knows you wear orange underwear. That ain't news." Then I would've believed him.
