Apparently a certain someone confirmed at Torcon that they aren't going to be at JiB next year. I did notice he wasn't announced with J2 but I didn't dare to dream.

Maybe the ring comment from the opening ceremony, the whole Purcon shit show, all those little things really added up to something more, and Daniela protects the talent.

Either way, I'm delighted. No stress over what he'll do to bring down the tone or the mood. Jared's Guarding Stars will have come out by then, Vought Rising will have started airing so we'll have new work from J2 to talk about.

And I got all the solo ops I requested.

So I was just browsing through my J2 folders like I do every once in a while (or it’s the only thing I do, but...details), and I was thinking about the fact that jib17 really was quite a spectacular moment in J2 history.

And, yes...there are so many, MANY spectacular J2 moments, but when you have it all spread out in front of you, the amount of J2 content given to us from jib17 alone that we still obsess over heavily to this day (at least I do) is truly impressive.

I could never come close to covering all of it in this one post, even after compiling the GIFs and photos into collages to save image space, so I’ll just focus on some of my personal favorites! 😊

Jensen was also hella drunk like ALL DAY. And he CRIED during the Cockles panel. Like, at one point, he could hardly speak he was so emotional. It was.. kinda weird to see tbh. I have NEVER seen him like that (offscreen.) Ever.

Jensen?? Jared normally has the issue with drinking too much, holy crap. I’ve never seen Jensen ever get that drunk. Now if only he’d blubber honestly about his feelings regarding writing on the show and choices made or not made, Charlie, Rowena’s death, Dean/Cas’ relationship, and fractured!TFW. Why’d he get all emotional? Was he talking about his kids? Or fandom impact? Do I want to know?

Once again, Supernatural fans put their money where their mouth is because we sold out Jensen already, and Jared almost has too.

Considering we've had much more access to Jared the past few years while he's been heavier on the convention circuit, I'm not surprised at him not quite selling out yet. Especially since it was only 48 hours after we bought him out for FtLoS in ten minutes .

Supernatural was and always will be the brothers show about the brothers, with everyone else being secondary no matter how loved they are. And J2 will always be the most popular actors from it. Because they were the leads.

Now comes the nervous wait to see if I got my ops with them 😬
