Day one of mermay: AMULET I’m going to be jumping around a few different prompt lists this year.
“War and glory, reinvention Fusion, freedom, her attention Out in daylight, my potential Bold, precise, experimental Who am I now in this world without her? Petty and dull, with the nerve to doubt her What does it matter? It’s already done Now I’ve got to be there for her son [Chorus] It’s over, isn’t it? Isn’t it? Isn’t it over? It’s over, isn’t it? Hi!I was just wondering, if there are plans for a volume 3 later; and if there will be an announcement when you're looking for artists? Thank you.
(Also addressing the following frequently asked question here: “Can people still submit to the LoL zine?”)
We’re really thankful for your interest in working with us, but at this time we’re not looking for artists.
RE. Volume 2: We held a Call for Artists in late Summer 2014. Submissions are now closed. The book is pretty much done now—all we need is the funding to send it to print.
RE. Possibility of Volume 3: It’s really too early to say. We (the editors, Arielle & Janet) are always putting together collaborative illustration projects, so just watch out for an announcement in the next few months for our next adventure.
