Hard week with the hound. Monday Jillie began collapsing from what appeared to be no real cause. Turns out she may have a form of narcolepsy, called cataplexy, where the brain shuts off from the muscles and she basically falls asleep at the drop of a hat. The worst part about it is it is triggered by things that give her enjoyment, especially eating. Shes currently home on medication, but it has been a hard week, and will continue to be until we know what choices we have left.
