After losing his partner in a field mission, Psychonaut agent Guybrush Threepwood finds himself in a slump. With Nelson declared dead, his only wish now is to get a sense of closure absent from the man's sudden disappearance. So when Otto approaches him with an opportunity to see a Nelson - not his, but one from a dimension he never existed in - Guybrush jumps at the chance. Little does he know that entering psychic experiments while in such an emotional state will lead him to the edges of madness and back, and strange abilities he never had back home. And lets not forget convenient amnesia, because where would our story be if he knew everything from the start? Meanwhile, fresh off his Scoggins return, Nelson finds himself fractured. Torn between being awake and being asleep as this stranger possesses his body, with only his new friend Jim in his corner to help him sort through this newfound double life - as the hottest, faster superhero on the scene, Superguy!

Probably one of my WEIRDER AU concepts for an already unique crossover AU, but one I had a lot of fun writing last year that I figured I’d finally post on here!! Big shoutout to @whatthewonder for the freakabrush/Superguy design I ended up using in the fic (which they’ll hopefully post now that it’s up and shareable lmao)  There’s six chapters of this already and there might be more on the way if the response is good and I get a wild hair again to work on it!! Please enjoy!

So, I actually sketched this out last night after chatting with @purple-to-my-tangerine about their Borrower AU, but didn’t get very far because it was late and I was sleepy. I might finish it later today (like, properly do lineart and color it) but with how much I’ve procrastinated the last couple months, I figured if I didn’t post a version now I would never  post it at all. So here it is!

I just like the idea of Jim being Borrower!Nelson’s person. (And possibly being the one to come to the rescue of the stranded/possibly hurt borrower.)

The two of them are in Olav’s cabin. I had fun coming up with Jim’s cold weather clothes, probably because I could stick him in some that I also own and have it be fine since there are no canon ones for him (that I know of.) So he gets a nice knitted scarf, a warm double breasted coat, and some good shoes.

He also seems like the kind of guy to own/wear fluffy earmuffs so I gave him a pair. (the one thing I don’t own...)

Nelson is a little scratched up in addition to being very cold because 1. Gnome attacks (or at least them not being friendly/careful whilst handling him) and 2. Big (for him) Predator Animals + Very Tiny Person = Problems!!
