What are your Jimbe takes ? I’m intrigued 🤭‼️
Alright!! How I envisioned jimbe initially was purely in a PC setting, where Jimmy is this big celebrity comedian and Bebe is but a humble flight attendant. (Her outfit screams flight attendant to me, but apparently she's a beauty consultant, but prefer the former tbqh.) I imagined her lounging on her couch on her nights off watching Jimmy's show and thinking how handsome and charming he is, and regretting that she didn't pursue him when they were younger.
That leads to me envisioning them both having this mutual attraction for each other but not acting on it for one reason or another. Not to get too explicit but I tried to explain to my hubby the other day how Jimmy and Bebe were both sexualized as children, Bebe with her body and Jimmy with, well, his whole sleeping with an adult woman, remember that? I like to imagine they can find safety in each other over this mutual understanding and express themselves openly, especially with Jimmy who is most likely erased in that aspect due to being disabled. I hope I'm not coming across as too deranged lol.
I like to think that Jimmy would treat Bebe with more respect as he seems to be more socially considerate and would value her intelligence more than her appearance, yk, I think he of all the boys understands that someone is more than what they're perceived as. He's shown to be musically inclined and big on gestures, so that kind of romantic inclination that Bebe seeks from Clyde could be fulfilled by Jimmy by just..being Jimmy lol. Bebe on the other hand I think frankly is more hesitant as she seems to care very much what is socially acceptable and expected of her, ex to date the most desirable boy in their peer group, etc. So I imagine for Bebe it's about leaning more into what makes her happy than what makes her popular, letting Jimmy make her ugly laugh and listen to what she has to say, someone she can kiss and hold without him bragging it to the boys in the locker room later.
They both also seem to be very headstrong and have a temper, they're passionate, and so they can match each other's energy in that respect. They could be a very powerful couple together basically lol.
I flip flop between whether I want for Bebe to leave Clyde for Jimmy in their youth and they navigate highschool together or they get together later in life when none of that shit matters, maybe at a reunion or Kenny's funeral, whichever works.
