The members of the Yu Pride are noble. The members of the Yu Pride are strong. But the members aren’t perfect. The pride isn’t perfect and everyone has their secrets. 

For Christian however, his secrets are precious. As the prince and the next head of the pride, his actions are constantly scrutinized. His history with the fae were looked down upon. The direction of the restaurant as a safehaven for all supernaturals were scoffed at. His intense relationships with anyone, even remotely different from him, earns a side eye from many of his family members. 

But no matter how much they hate him, they will always protect his secrets. For if anyone speaks about the farmer that lost his life at the hand of the prince, they will face a fate even worse than death.

He is unable to sleep. Whenever he even tries to close his eyes, his face is always there. It is a nightmare he’s been dealing with for weeks now and no matter what spell or charm he tries to use, it always comes back. 

It was the scream that had woken him up this time, a scream so desperate and afraid that it echoes even now in reality. For him, its just a dream. A face he’s never seen before but its not the first time that a dream seems so familiar.

Whenever he tries to connect it to his memories, he can’t. So it has to be fake, he likes to tell himself.

But then sometimes he remembers the little girl. The little girl who screamed monster. “It can’t be. Can it?” 

No, Cris. Back to sleep.

The fae had considered himself lucky the past couple days, his usual antics had been kept up with zero interruptions. Both thievery and prank-pulling alike, Jooheon felt like he was on cloud nine, putting together quite a small fortune already and it wasn’t even the afternoon. Yet, people rushing to work seemed too caught up in their own personal problems to even notice a wallet or coin purse absent from their pockets. 

He giggles to himself as he ducks into one of his favorite alleyways, carefully tucking away his newfound fortune. He discards the remaining evidence, i.e the wallets he hadn’t just ditched in the middle of the sidewalks, and stands off to the side for a moment. As much as he enjoyed these easy pickings, he couldn’t help but proceed to his next antics with caution. Jooheon was fairly certain that more sooner or later he’d be getting a visit from a familiar face.

The raven scowled at the thought of running into this particular individual, their meetings becoming more frequent that he’d prefer. Almost the third time this week, this guy really had a knack for catching the raven in the act. He’s pretty sure after the third encounter with anyone from the police department they book you, but this was purely based on rumors alone so he wasn’t quite sure. Either way, he knew his luck would run out eventually, and he’d have to face the consequences of his actions yet again.

He squints, spotting a quick and easy target before retreating for the day. Hood up like always, his eyes are aimed at the ground as he ‘accidentally’ bumps into the individual, a hand quickly diving into their back pocket. Once he successfully retrieves the wallet, Jooheon doesn’t even get more than a couple feet away before he’s met with an all too familiar presence. “Shit..” He growls underneath his breath as he shoves the wallet into his pocket, before meeting the other male with narrowed eyes.

♬ - DIRGE - a habit, hobby, or obsession they can’t seem to shake

Although Himchan is completing work in the medical field, he cannot seem to quit chewing his nails! He knows that it is unsanitary and is a habit he should probably drop for the fact that he works in a hospital, but he cannot seem to help himself. To combat the feelings of dirtiness by doing this, Himchan ensures that he always washes his hands before and after engaging in chewing his nails. He is comforted in knowing that he will not contract something or hurt another person with this method, so he can chew his nails in peace. 

Since his nails grow fast, though, he chews them a lot. Often times, if one were to come to Himchan’s condo while he is home, they can find him sitting on the the couch, watching some show on tv while he goes to work on his nails. His excuse is that it prevents him from growing sharp claws, but that does not excuse the nail shavings littering the ground. After each session, Himchan cleans up his mess; however, if one is unlucky enough to visit while he is chewing them, beware of stepping on pieces of his finger nails on the ground.
