Misleading Perceptions

Ji Hye had to throw her arms out in front of her, to find her balance as she made an attempt to regain her footing. Being so preoccupied with salvaging her knees, Ji had momentarily lost sight of the white dogâŠas hard a task as that could be. Maybe it was time for a more secure leashâŠ
Her eyes roamed the park, looking for the large mass of white fur as she moved through the park. She had to find him before he did something rash and pounced on an innocent bystander. When sheâd eye the area around a third camphor tree, she spotted the large dog running towards his seemingly human target. âYeong-Cheol jebalâŠâ
What could have been a simple walk in the park would now be an outing full of apologiesâŠJi Hye let out an exasperated sigh and began running in the direction of her large dog and his poor victim.
Jooheon clenches his fists tightly, the short-tempered male walks out of what seems like his fifth job this month alone. He grinds his teeth in frustration, this was supposed to be an easy job, his friend said. Fast money, he said. Bull shit, the raven thinks to himself, eyes narrowing as he searches for a effortless target for his full-time job. Well, if you could call it that.Â
One wouldnât consider his daily tasks of mischief a job, perhaps more of a hobby if that. From practical jokes to straight up thievery, Jooheon wasnât one for holding back. Whatever negative emotions he had felt soon washed away as he entered the semi busy street, his eyes lighting up as they slowly survey the area. His tight grip unravels, palms still a dark shade of pink.
Perhaps it was the sheer excitement, but the raven couldnât help but feel slightly overwhelmed at the sight, several ideas for his antics already starting to form.Â
Being a mischief aligned fae had both itâs pros and cons, the major con being his inability to uphold even the most basic of jobs. It wasnât that he was incompetent, though being as headstrong and stubborn as he is does play a key role. Not to mention his strong desire to stir up trouble at any moment. Lips pulling back ever so slightly to reveal a smirk, he walks to a less populated park of town, one of which his residency was no more than a mere blocks away. San would probably be upset at the news of the job falling through, the bird often ignoring him on days he couldnât bring dinner to the table.Â
Though, he can deal with his San problem later. Instead, his eyes dart off to the side, the maleâs mouth drops open. He couldâve sworn.. he saw a white blur? Jooheon blinks repeatedly, glancing around for any other passerby to conform what he just saw. His search comes up blank, unless you count the large white thing barreling towards him.Â
He doesnât take note that it was headed straight for him until the very last moment. Unlucky for him, as itâs too late to put up any defense before whatever this creature may be launches itself onto him. His eyes wide and admittedly panicked, the first thing popping into his mind of what his unknown assailant could be was the only large, white creature he could think of. Thankfully for him, this was in fact not a great white bear from the north, but instead a dog with very similar features. He finds this out a little too late, after the initial shock and small yelp he may have emitted after the pouncing. Before he could raise a hand, his face is met with a slimy, pink tongue that barely gives him a chance to open his mouth in protest.Â
Jooheon squirms beneath the dogâs weight, eyes trying to open in hopes someone will come to his rescue. âYah! Get off of me!â He manages to yell out, though the dog seems anything but phased by this, resuming in itâs endless shower of kisses.
