hello ive come to spit redux ideas at you because i love origin stories and i just,,, ok so picture gavin in a new city right, & he's uncomfortable because he doesn't know this place but he can't go home because of "reasons" & the only thing that makes his day are the stray cats around the city so he actively hunts them down on really bad days & he keeps coming across this one group of people as he follows the strays throughout the city & like he finds them everywhere (1/3)

one week it was the docks & the next week it was the opposite side of town near the nicer area & the only thing consistent about it is the people who show up & the large amount of cats with them (they all keep feeding them because each of them know what it’s like to be a stray) & gavin is super here for these fellow cat lovers & yeah they’re kind of shifty looking but they can’t be too bad because the cats clearly love them & he’s seen worse honestly (2/3)

meanwhile the current fahc is freaking a bit because some strange dude keeps finding them??? like they hid in jacks neighbors grandmothers basement once & he still found them?? they tried to find out about him but no one knew anything & they tried to spook him but he just smiled and continued to make kissy sounds at the cat hiding behind the garbage can & so they’re just at a standstill where they just nod at this dude sometimes or make small talk with him until they’re sort of friends (3/3)

ths is so gavin actually... just wandering into active danger b/c theres cats and hes not paying attention...

gavins also just a little shit and probably pickpockets people on his way home for dinner money and ends up both mysteriously tracking down the crew and also accidentally stealing from them
