Izu and Jin both died because of how much they believed in Aruto. In the end, despite it all, they were right

The wooden sword is difficult at best to work with. Frankly, she’s upset by it, drawing the thing from its sheath so she can look over it. The type of wood, she’s not too certain of, and runs her fingers along the ‘blade’ to try and get an idea of it.
NATURE CHECK: [ 2 + 0 = 2 ]
Absolutely no clue. Delightful. Great! There’s no telling if this thing will hold up to any sort of use.
“Excuse me.” She calls upon a competent looking stranger, offering a demure smile and folding her hands in a way that suggests she’s trying to be diplomatic. “Do you know where I could acquire a proper sword?”
Contemplated making an entire batch with all of mbjr in one setting but my leg hurt
Izu or Is?
Nizu & Aruto, Nizu & Jin, 700+ words
The first time after is… strange, in the fight, and after, she knows her predecessor is there. Beside her, perhaps in control, but the sense fades in the time between then and when Aruto comes into work the next morning.
It’s not a merge, and it is complicated, and Izu… does not quite know what to do with it.
Aruto asks before she can, though.
“Are you Is, or Izu?” He asks. Izu considers.
She is not… who she was before, but she knows she’s changed. Though she truly couldn’t say how.
“I feel different,” she says. “Sure that my place is by your side, and by Jin’s… helping people, like you do.”
Aruto smiles.
“Well, I guess that’s enough,” he says. “Is gave us her blessing, though. I’m glad…” he blinks. “Hey, you do seem different. I wonder…”

Aruto & New Izu ft Jin, 800+ words
The thing about being a Humagear is that when Jin gets a call, he gets it internally. So as soon as the signal reaches him, he knows it’s Aruto and answers as such.
“Jin?” Aruto says. “I think - no. I know I made a mistake, or I would have told you what I was planning. I—”
“What happened?” Jin asks.
“I remade Izu,” Aruto says. “I don’t. I thought about it, but I missed her, and so I spent the past few days teaching Izu about Izu… but… she isn’t Izu, and I tried to—”
Aruto cuts himself off, the silence echoing.
Oh. Wow.
